Yes, we need to act and right actions matter —
and we need to do it as quickly as possible. We are helping each other figure that out and that is what this website is for.

We are a group of women (and Jim!) who’ve worked together, some of us, for over ten years on climate issues. Now we’re a flash mob for the climate emergency!

Based in Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties, we work at local and regional levels, national and even global, each on the particular issues, systems and sectors that most call to us.

We do this work because we know the climate crisis to be existential.

Tipping points for climate, and most of life, are moving exponentially. And the consequent chaos is no longer just out there somewhere and far ahead of us, but is already upon us. It is here. Now.

But, so are we!

We are not turning away; we’re facing into it.

Together, we help each other to find and do the most potent things that are within our reach.

We seek also to support you — the now climate concerned—with what it will take for you, if you choose, to become the climate engaged.

For you, the already climate engaged, whatever you’re up to, we’re also reaching out, to connect and to strengthen our impact.
